We all know what it’s like to lose something. Most of us have lost our keys or misplaced our wallet at one time or another. But have you ever lost something that was extremely important? Something that can’t just be easily replaced? If so, what did you do? Did you search everywhere to find it? Did you ask others to join you in looking for that thing of value? Did it consume all of your time and energy? And if you finally found it, what was your response? Were you excited and relieved? Did you jump for joy? Did you celebrate with your family and friends?

This may be hard to imagine, but God has lost something of great importance to Him. Something that is so important He’s focusing all of His time and energy on finding it. It’s so important to God, He asks all of His followers to join the search.

In our Found series, we’ll explore what God has lost and the lengths He’ll go to find it. We’ll even explore God’s response when that which was lost is found!
